Things Don’t Always Heal on Their Own

When I injured my back a couple of months ago, I was in pain, but I thought it would just heal on its own, so I just took some aspirin and went on about my day. As time passed, the pain started to get worse. Someone suggested that I go to a chiropractor to have it looked it, but I told them, that I would be just fine. Passing up on the chance to go to the Concord chiropractor was a big mistake. Eventually things got so bad that I couldn’t get out of bed in the morning and my wife had to help me.

Fed up with my stubbornness, my wife made an appointment with the chiropractor that morning and didn’t want to hear any objections from me. I wasn’t looking forward to the chiropractor visit because I was afraid of what he would tell me about my back. I can’t think of anyone who likes to hear bad news when it comes to their health. I suppose if I had gone to the chiropractor back when the pain first came, I wouldn’t be dreading the news as much, but what’s done is done and I can’t change it now.

My wife went with me to the chiropractor since she felt that I was acting like such a baby about the issue. The chiropractor told me that my back could be healed back to normal, but I needed to have a little procedure done to fix it. I agreed to have the procedure done, and my wife was there to support me. At this point, I just wanted to get it over with so I could go back to moving around like I used to do. The procedure wasn’t so bad, and once I was fully healed, the pain was gone forever.
